Why would you not drill the holes for your customers? Maybe if you did, you would have more loyal folks. My husband has the drill for work today, so my son is now crying in the corner because I can't get this garbage together. Like other reviews say, there are no pre-drilled holes. I figured it was like other step 2 products, i just needed a screwdriver. My son got this for Christmas and I tried assembling it today. Second, the cars don’t go all the way down! At first it didn’t bother my son, but now he gets frustrated with it. My son absolutely loves this!! its all he plays with these days! He loves that its something he can stand up and play with and not have to sit the whole time and he can add his own track to the end so its customize-able!įirst, the assembly was NOT as easy as I expected for this being a Step 2 toy. This is a Christmas gift for my grandson, we are soooo disappointed!Ĭertainly was not worth the money, and isn’t Step2 quality!! Racing is IMPOSSIBLE without purchasing additional track. More track needs to come with the toy- once it is assembled, it barely reaches the floor on one side, with nothing on the second side of track. The cars will not go thru the entire track- they get stuck and have to be dislodged multiple times. The molded in track and non removable bridges keep this multi layered track in place while the little ones race their favourite cars around it. Very difficult to assemble-the holes are NOT pre drilled. This product is disappointing on several issues. He’s been enjoying it but there are times where the orange skinny tracks come off because he likes to glide them himself, but overall it’s a great toy for boys that are into cars.
Grandparents purchased this toy for my 2 year old birthday. My grandsons (2 and 3 1/2 years old) played for hours with it on Christmas Day and then packed it up and took it home. Step 2 Hot Wheels Road Rally Raceway, Blue Great product, easy to put together with simple instructions. I'll return it in the store and strongly not recommend to purchase.
